United States Tax Court

Definition of United States Tax Court:

A legislative branch of the government that allows taxpayers to dispute federal income tax disputes that were assessed by the IRS. What makes the US Tax Court special is that taxpayers may file disputes without first paying the tax in question. In other courts the tax must first be paid and then can be disputed in court. The US tax court allows taxpayers to litigate their tax matters in a number of different ways.
