Nebraska Income Adjustments and Credit for Tax Paid To Another State Schedules

Schedule II allows Nebraska residents who worked in other states to declare taxes they paid to other states. Declaring taxes paid to other states allows income earned by Nebraska residents who worked in other states to not face dual taxation on their income, from both Nebraska (the state of residence) and the other state (where the income was earned). Nebraska gives a credit for taxes paid to other states which lowers your Nebraska tax liability. Schedule II is a supplemental form and should be filed with Form-1040N.

Schedule I is for anyone who has income adjustments that they need to claim for their Nebraska return.
