Schedule VI is the schedule needed to claim a credit for taxes paid to other states. This form can be filed by Montana full-year or part-year residents. You should file this schedule to avoid dual taxation on income that would otherwise face dual taxation from Montana (you state of residence) and the other other state (where the income was earned).
