Form N-13
Hawaii Individual Resident Income Tax Return (Short)
If you are a Hawaiian resident, regardless of where you work, and you need to file a tax return, you need to look at Form N-13. N-13 is the short form that Hawaiian residents may use to file their state income tax returns. To file your return with Form N-13 you must make less than $100,000 of income and your income may only be sourced from compensation, interest, ordinary dividends, and unemployment compensation. If you do not meet these requirements, you will need to file your Hawaii return with Form N-11, the longer form for Hawaiian residents to file their returns with.
