Form 1040A
The Short Form
1040A is just like its big brother 1040 and little brother 1040EZ in that it is meant to allow you to file your federal taxes. In terms of length you will you will find 1040A between 1040 and 1040EZ. To file 1040A, you must meet certain requirements (see the Choose the Right For Article). This form has some of the advantages of 1040, namely you can claim several income adjustments and tax credits, while combining some of the advantages of 1040EZ, namely a shorter length then 1040.
